Louisville Brewfest @ Clifton Center

Friday, March 27

The Clifton Center
2117 Payne St.
Free; 4-10 p.m.

Get thee here, get thee beer. The first-ever Louisville Brewfest on Friday will feature beer tastings from all five local breweries — Bluegrass Brewing Main Street, Cumberland Brews, New Albanian Brewing Company, Bluegrass Brewing Company and Browning’s Brewery, as well as favorite hometown foods from the breweries, Tony Boombozz Gourmet Pizzeria and The Bodega at Felice. There will also be live music by The Instruction, Thomas A. Minor and Adventure starting at 7 p.m. It’s free, but if you want to taste the nectar, it’ll cost you a dollar for a sample and $3 for a full. Beer tickets can be purchased at the door, redeemable for both brew and food. The Louisville game against Arizona will be shown, too (7 p.m.). —Jonathan Ashley
