The new exhibit “We Are Home” at JCTC is part of the school’s Spring Festival honoring Native American cultures. The show — which includes paintings, ceramics, wood sculpture, stained glass, bead work, drawings, new media and mixed media – includes artists Black Bear (Blackfeet), Louis Ballard (Osage, Quapaw – Cherokee), Maanii Baldon (Odawa), Oran Baumeister (Standing Rock Lakota), Alyssa Hinton (Tuscarora/Osage) and Michelle Red Elk (Kiowa, Comanche). A reception for the artists is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14 from 4-7 p.m.
