Into alliteration and local theater? “Finnigan’s Festival of Funky Fresh Fun,” the second production in Finnigan’s fifth season, is a celebration of local playwrights, directors and actors, and includes scripts from 11 Louisville natives. Tad Chitwood’s “Fair Trade” is a naughty relationship comedy. “Games People Play,” by Carlos Manuel, is a meditation on role reversal. Adam and Eve go to marriage counseling in Doug Schutte’s “Love Religiously.” Mother Goose receives an update in “A Real Mother Goose Tale” by Carridder Jones. A lounge singer makes a deal with Satan in Jeffrey Scott Holland’s “Patrick Amsterdam.” Do yourself a favor and bear witness to the rollicking, imaginative fare these hardworking artists have prepared for us. —Jonathan Ashley
