The Louisville Graphic Design Association does it again, bringing in top-notch designers to help remind us that design matters. This time it’s Rafael Esquer of NYC’s Alfalfa Studio. Esquer earned his BFA and, like many true artists, found his calling in graphic design. His clients have included The New York Times Magazine, Nike, Björk, AIGA, Tommy Boy Records, Target, IBM, Scholastic and MTV, and he has work in international collections and museums. LGDA will also host an exclusive dinner with Esquer at Wiltshire On Market immediately following for $40 (contact LGDA for reservations). According to Esquer’s Twitter page, he’s busy preparing for this presentation, saying (well, tweeting) that he’s “editing a short video for a lecture in Louisville.
