Louisville’s own Camille Cothron will appear weekly on the Style Network’s highest rated show, “Dress My Nest,” starting tonight. “Dress My Nest” is a vibrant, spunky interior design show hosted by interior designer Thom Filicia, formerly of ”Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” The show is entering into its fourth season, and Camille was added to the cast as Thom’s co-host/intern for the show. On camera, Camille works hand-in-hand with Thom, discussing the designs that are featured in each episode. Behind the scenes, Camille actually created all of the floor plans and 3-D room drawings that will appear on the show.
Camille is a Louisville native. She attended Butler Hight School and received her bachelors of fine arts from U of L, with a degree in interior design. After college, Camille did interior design for Domain Fabric & Interiors in Saint Matthews. During this time, she also became involved in acting, appearing in various local feature films as well as plays at both the Kentucky Center for the Arts and Actors Theatre.
In 2006, Camille moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. After three years of working in the field, Camille decided to bring interior design back into her life and was hired in the office of the acclaimed interior designer Kelly Wearstler (a judge on Bravo’s ”Top Design”). Shortly after, the opportunity for “Dress My Nest” came along.
