In celebration of National Poetry Month, Sarabande is hosting a reading by poets Paula Bohince and Kazim Ali.
Winner of the 2008 Aleda Shirley Prize in Poetry, Bohince will be coming from Pennsylvania to read from her debut collection, ”Incident at the Edge of Bayonet Woods.“
Kazim Ali is the author of two books of poetry, ”The Far Mosque,” winner of Alice James Books’ New England/New York Award, and ”The Fortieth Day” (BOA Editions, 2008). He teaches at Oberlin College and the Stonecoast MFA program and is a founding editor of Nightboat Books.
There will also be music by local band Natural Geographic.
