Velcro Pygmies @ Chow Wagon

Tuesday, April 28

Waterfront Park

Free (w/ Pegasus Pin); 8 p.m.

The show will open with Poison’s “Nothin’ But a Good Time” and end with KISS’s “Rock ’n’ Roll All Night” — so goes the prediction of a Pygmie fanatic. By song three, lead singer Cam — clad in ripped up, tight jeans — will have stripped off his shirt. Johnny Depp will commandeer the stage on bass, while guitarist Angel strokes the ax situated in between his legs, and drummer Chris sticks drumsticks up his nose and balances them on his forehead. Yes, Louisville, these are our hometown boys (well, only half of them, as the band has changed over the years). They don’t get back here often, so grab yourself a corndog, tease your hair and head to the Chow Wagon stage. —Sara Havens
