The first ever set of night races at Churchill Downs will kick off with a bang this evening as the historic racetrack turns into party central. Food and drink specials, a special guest DJ, a beer garden and live music will be just a few highlights as a new era is ushered in. Come out and enjoy the historic occasion.

I went to this last night and I must say that I was extremely disappointed about the amount of people working. I understand that churchill downs did not expect such a large turn out but why would you not be prepared just in case. Standing in line for 45 min. to get a drink is not cool in 95 degree weather. By the time I finally got my drink I most definitely made it a double. So if u go to this, have some drinks before ya go. Eat too! I won’t even get into the food lines. Sheesh!
P.S. I went to the 3rd one and it was much better. Great job guys!
