The Kin Ship Gallery’s second exhibition features new paintings by Patrick Jilbert. We hear there may also be a five-foot-tall papier maché monster on display by the Louisville artist. Jilbert has created images and T-shirt designs for companies like Blood is the New Black (shirts sold in Urban Outfitters and Nordstrom), Creature Skateboards, Von Zipper and WHY Louisville (he’s the genius behind the “Louisville is for Haters,” “Gold Teef for Errbody” and “Thick Girls Are Dope” shirts). The opening reception will be held on Friday, June 26, from 6-9 p.m. —Sara Havens
