The Louisville Ballet offers dance lovers a first look at thirteen new pieces with its Choreographers’ Showcase. This annual event focuses on work created and danced by the artists of the Louisville Ballet. Choreographers’ Showcase encompasses all types of dance from ballet to modern set to music from classical to pop. This year’s program also features the world premiere of a one-act ballet, “Sansei” by company principal Mikelle Bruzina. Performances will be on Friday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 24 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.  All performances will be held at the Louisville Ballet’s studio space at 315 E. Main St. General admission tickets are $20 and available at The Kentucky Center box office.
