Oct. 30-Nov. 21
Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center

It’s spooky time.
“At this time of year, people think about ghosts and other scary, usually ugly spirits, but we wanted to take a look at all kinds of spirits and the beauty to be found in them,” says Jana John, Gallery Janjobe co-owner. “The idea is to get each artist’s interpretation of the spirit world, whether it represents a fairy tale, a myth, a legend or something entirely different.”
Expect plenty of Halloween-themed art in different media, including ceramics by Carl de Graaf, Andrea Becker’s leather and wood mixed media, and glass blown by Chad Balster.
The opening reception is Friday, Oct. 30, from 6-9 p.m. during the F.A.T. Friday Trolley Hop. —Jo Anne Triplett
