Leggot moved here from West Virginia almost two decades ago and makes his living as a cosmetologist. One of his lifelong passions is painting. Then came the near-death experience that influenced his current exhibition of abstracted flowers. They represent the bold, big and bright way he’s celebrating life. —Jo Anne Triplett
