The Cincinnati Reds Winter Caravan makes its annual stop at the Louisville Slugger Museum Thursday from 5:30-8 p.m. The event is free, with various Reds officials and players in attendance, including right fielder Jay Bruce, who came up to the Big Leagues through the Louisville Bats. Also on hand will be Reds broadcaster Thom Brennaman, owner Phil Castellini and GM Walt Jocketty. The big news in the Cincinnati organization is the recent signing of 22-year-old Cuban fireballer Aroldis Chapman, whose fastball has been clocked at 100 mph. Chapman could be assigned to Louisville sometime this season. —Bill Doolittle
