During the April 6-10 JCPS spring break, we invite families to stop in to view the Carnegie Center exhibit “Outta Sight! The Inner Vision of Two Blind Guys: Recent Works by C.J. Pressma and Keith Kleespies” and to make a texture painting. Visually impaired artists create visual art in many ways and one of them is by working with texture. We will have a variety of textured materials available (including sandpaper, yarn, beads, felt, fun foam, and 3D fabric paint) for you to create your own “painting” that can be experienced with your fingertips! This self-serve activity will be available in the foyer of the Carnegie Center, 201 E. Spring St., New Albany, during the museum hours of 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
