Upon completion of her second term as Board President, the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, 715. W. Main St., 589-0102, will honor Mary Stone by dedicating a sculptural glass wall to her. “We want to acknowledge the significant contributions Mary has made to not only KMAC, but also to the Louisville arts community as a whole,” states Kevin O’Brien, Executive Director of KMAC. “We are so fortunate to have a passionate art advocate like Mary in our community, and the dedication of the glass wall will be a permanent reminder of her support.”
The sculptural glass wall titled “Dreams of Wind and Glass” stretches the length of the first floor of the Museum, dividing the Gallery Shop and the Steve Wilson Exhibition Gallery. It was designed by Ken von Roenn, Jr.
