Visual Arts Pot Luck

This is the first official event put on by the Louisville Fund for the Visual Arts, an organization dedicated to promotion and funding of the visual arts in the Louisville Metro Region. Wednesday, June 2, 6-8 p.m., Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center. Free to attend. Plates, utensils, and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. Bring a dish or beverage to share.

The purpose of the Pot Luck is for the Board of Directors to converse with local artists, answer questions, brainstorm ideas and gain feedback about the needs of our visual art community. As we start the process of applying for grants, seeking donations, and expanding our structure and organization, we recognize that our most important focus is on the artists and organizations that make up the Visual Arts community. We have our ideas but we are always on the look out for new perspectives and ways to most effectively target our support. This is your chance to influence the direction of our organization from the start.

All are welcome! Bring your friends, your ideas, and a readiness to talk about what is needed to make the Louisville Metro Area one of the premier creative centers in the country.
