“Fifty Years of Contemporary Glass: Art, Craft, or Otherwise?” is at the Speed Art Museum, 2035 S. Third St., 634-2700, from April 25-Aug. 2. Created around 1960, the international studio glass movement will, in 2010, move past the half-century mark. The show looks at the movement’s development from both an historical and a critical perspective. Drawn heavily from the Leonard and Adele Leight collection.
