This Sunday’s Cabaret Life Drawing + Yoga with Art

This Sunday, STRETCH your drawing skills with Bethan Kannapell, an Acrobatic Contortionist and circus production director.

Cabaret Life Drawing is an evening of provocative inspiration. An array of models – from burlesque starlets to ballerinas, body builders to fetish models, circus contortionists to costume designers – will perform and pose for the audience to sketch. This class is for professional and beginning artists alike. Just $10 at the door $5 for students, attendees should being their own easel & drawing board with sketchbook and drawing supplies. Charcoal is recommended. Space is limited, so arrive early to ensure your spot. Please bring exact change.

21c’s Proof on Main is currently exhibiting Drawings from Cabaret Life Drawing. Check out the new exhibit comprised of drawings from the class. Cabaret Life Drawing is still accepting drawings for the exhibit. The exhibit will rotate with new drawings through September.

Yoga with Art is designed for the beginner to the advanced student. Sessions are just $5 at the door. You’ll need to BYOM (bring your own mat). Certified Yoga Teacher and special guest, Julie Keel will teach Yoga with Art this week. Attendees should bring their own mat or towel and water and arrive early to ensure a spot because space is limited.
