This weekend, The Bard’s Town belongs to The Louisville Improvisors, as they have two completely different shows for you Friday and Saturday night.  Friday they will do their usual brand of music and comedy while performing alongside the debut of The New Improvisors — a group of graduates from The Louisville Improvisors’ Training Center. Saturday will see the return of The Narcotic Farmers, a long-defunct (until recently) improv group from the 1950s that was created along the L&N train line, featuring the best improv performers from both Louisville and Nashville. The latest incarnation of The Narcotic Farmers features Chris Anger and Alex Volz (The Louisville Improvisors), and Scott Field and Jill Mothershed (Music City Improv). —Brent Owen
