October is National Arts and Humanities Month. Gov. Steve Beshear has issued a proclamation for Arts and Humanities Month in Kentucky, citing the benefits of the arts and humanities in enriching lives, attracting tourists, contributing to the economy and recognizing the role of Kentucky arts organizations in bringing the arts to Kentuckians.
