Louisville’s First Knit Bombing Event is Sunday, Feb. 26 from 12-4 p.m. Knitters and crochet artists welcome. Sponsored by the Kentucky School of Art. Call 618-4600 for more information.

“Rooted in the Earth” by Pat DaRif, Joanne Weis and Valerie White will be exhibited at Spalding University’s Huff Gallery from Feb. 26-April 8. The artists’ reception will be Sunday, Feb. 26, from 2-4 p.m. 873-4436, 853 Library Lane. There will be two related events: a panel discussion called “Quilts as Cultural Metaphors” which will take place on Monday, Feb. 27 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. and a gallery talk with DaRif and Weis on Saturday, March 3 at 12:15 p.m.

“Meditation on Houses and Other Everyday Objects” by Gwendolyn Kelly will be at the Kentucky School of Art, 845 S. Third St., 618-4600, from Feb. 26-April 8. The reception is Sunday, Feb. 26 from 2-4 p.m.
