The Artists Syndicate’s Third Thursday event for April falls on Derby Festival kickoff week. They are celebrating all things Derby and paying tribute to the late Hunter S. Thompson with “Gonzo Derby: Your Experience.”Hunter’s 1970 article “The Kentucky Derby is Decadent and Depraved” is the guideline. The story and style became more about Hunter’s experience at the Derby than the Derby itself and that’s what the Syndicate wants from you, your experiences. All medium, all things Derby and Gonzo.

They are also looking for uncut cell phone videos from your Derby weekend to be projected in a loop at the event. Deadline: midnight April 16.
