Edith Bingham and Linda Bruckheimer are to be honored for their contributions to the preservation of Kentucky’s heritage at Preservation Kentucky’s Annual Meeting and Reception on Friday, April 13 from 6-8:30 p.m. The event will be held at Whiskey Row Lofts, 131 W. Main St. The meeting portion of the event will be from 6-6:30 p.m. with awards for Bruckheimer and Bingham.
The reception will follow from 6:30-8:30 p.m.The gallery space will showcase artwork for sale by Kentucky artists Kelly Cook, Andy Cook, Bill Macintire, Sandie Griffith, Kim Torres and Mike Stauss. A portion of the sale of artwork will be donated to Preservation Kentucky. The River Sirens, Company Sons, and Lead-Based Pickers will entertain with Bluegrass and old-time music. Hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided by Doc Crowe’s Southern Smokehouse. Tours of the newly rehabilitated Whiskey Row Lofts will be available throughout the evening.The meeting is free and open to the public with an RSVP required before Monday, April 9.
