Weekend visual art events

The Carnegie Center for Art and History, 201 E. Spring St. in New Albany, 812-944-7336, is hosting a gallery talk by Joel O’Dorisio on Saturday, July 28 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. O’Dorisio’s free gallery talk is on his exhibit “Our House: Recent Works in Glass by Joel O’Dorisio.” He is an artist and sculptor who is internationally recognized for his traditional blown glasswork and cast sculptural glass.

The Arts Association of Oldham County and Gallery 104 presents “Meet the Artist Night” on Saturday, July 28 from 5-8 p.m. This month we feature artists Lea Ann Luce and Sandra Graves. This is quickly becoming LaGrange’s Art on the Tracks – Studio Tour on the 4th Saturday of each month through October. There are five art galleries/studios on NE Main St.: Utopia Studio, Gallery 104, The Art Gallery on Main, the Kinney Studio and the Campbell Studio.
