The First Friday Trolley Hop is on the first Friday of the month, Aug. 3. Explore the art galleries, museums, shops and restaurants along East & West Main & Market Streets from 5-11 p.m. Hop on and off the free trolley.
The Speed Art Museum is hosting “Free First Friday at the Speed” from 5-9 p.m. during the Aug. 3 First Friday Trolley Hop.
“Around the World” group art show is at Bearno’s By the Bridge from Aug. 3-Sept. 3. The opening is during First Friday.
The Tim Faulkner Gallery’s August shows include new works by Scottie May, Yoland Dlamini and Ryan Case plus “Vivid Visions” group show. 851-2380.
Wayside Expressions Gallery, Hotel Louisville, 120 W. Broadway, 836-7661, is showing Betty Meadows exhibition “God’s Amazing People,” with the opening reception during the Aug. 3 First Friday Trolley Hop from 5-9 p.m. It will be on display through Sept. 4. The gallery is open Monday through Friday 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. or by appointment.

The Kentucky School of Art will be showing at Whiskey Row, 131 W. Main St., during the Aug. 3 First Friday Trolley Hop from 6-9 p.m. The drawings and paintings by KSA students are inspired by local landscapes.
The opening reception for “bewilderinger” by Douglas Miller at The Green Building Gallery, 732 E. Market St., 561-1162, is during the Aug. 3 First Friday Trolley Hop from 5-9 p.m. The show closes on Sept. 13.
