Panel discussion on mountaintop removal at Carnegie

The Carnegie Center for Art and History, 201 E. Spring St. in New Albany, 812-944-7336, is hosting a panel discussion on mountaintop removal and Renewable Energy on Thursday, Jan. 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. The panel discussion is presented in conjunction with the Center’s current exhibit “Project Reclamation,” a visual art exhibition to help raise awareness and educate the community about Mountaintop Removal and its effects on the environment, society, politics and more. The panel will include Anne Caudill, Mary Love with Kentuckians For The Commonwealth, Andy McDonald, Director of the Kentucky Solar Partnership, and will be moderated by Ben Evans, Director of the film YERT (Your Environmental Road Trip). Free and open to the public.
