Spring Break art classes for kids

Pre-registration is required. The Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft is holding classes during Spring Break from March 31-April 4 for ages 5-12. Full and half day camps are available. Go to the website for more information or call 589-0102.  

Adult art classes at LVAA

Registration open. The Louisville Visual Art Association is offering adult art classes (figure drawing, pottery and painting) beginning at the end of January. Contact Sarah Davis at 502-584-8166 for more information.

Art classes for children during school break

Pre-registration required. The Louisville Visual Art Association is offering two art classes for children aged 5-12 during the school break. Summer Fiber Arts Camps at the Little Loomhouse

Pre-registration is required. The Little Loomhouse, 328 Kenwood Rd., 367-4792, is holding summer fiber arts camps for school age children in June and July. Class size is limited to 12 for each session. Contact Stephanie Brown, Education Coordinator to register.

Koch and Company, 10970 Dixie Highway, 618-4069, now offers art classes. A class is scheduled each night, as well as two afternoons.

Blacksmithing classes

Pre-registration is required. Kaviar Forge & Gallery, 1718 Frankfort Ave., 561-0377, is now offering a blacksmithing class taught by master blacksmith Craig Kaviar. It will be from Jan. 19-Feb. 16 on Saturdays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The cost is $400.
