Old House Expo is a free, interactive event designed to help participants learn to maintain and care for their historic home or commercial building. Activities will include educational sessions and workshops with knowledgeable guest speakers, and a Vendor&#8217;s Fair to introduce participants to appropriate products and services.</p>
<p>The <a href="www.artscouncilsi.org">Arts Council of Southern Indiana</a>, 812-949-4238, is holding their Mother&#8217;s Day Tea &amp; Fashion Show on Sunday, May 12 from 2-5 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 805 E. Market St. in New Albany. Over 45 models from the community ages 3-60 will model clothes from area businesses.</p>

Mr. Pierson will share with  participants his in-depth knowledge of qualifying and applying for Federal and State Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits that can equal up to 30% of their rehabilitation project&#8217;s cost. He will also provide one-on-one assistance with questions they may have about rehabilitating their historic commercial building or home utilizing the Secretary of the Interior&#8217;s Standards for Rehabilitation.</p>
